Madison - Barbara J. Walser, age 71, died on October 9, 2022, at SSM St. Mary’s Hospital in Madison, WI. She was born on July 28, 1951, in Madison, WI to parents Josephine E. (Hatcher) and Clarence H. Walser.
Barbara completed high school at James Madison Memorial and further studied at Madison Business College. Barb had a quiet lifestyle enjoying pets and gardening. She was generous to animal and environmental causes. She was highly skilled in making stained glass art. One of her favorite pastimes was watching cinema.
Survivors include her sister Susan A. Walser; relatives Julie Kellesvig, Allie and Noah of Mt. Horeb, WI, Nessa and Alex Voeroesmary, Ida and Henry of Grieskirchen, Austria; and she is further survived by extended family of cousins.
Our gratitude is sent to physicians and healthcare providers who cared for Barbara. Also, various homebound services and individuals who gave their help and assistance. She experienced a lifetime of close and distant friends. She was fortunate to have thoughtful and loving neighbors nearby her over the years. A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 28, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. at Sunset Memory Gardens, 7302 Mineral Point Road, Madison.
