Obituary

Madison- Sheila Kay Joyce, age 68, passed away on Sunday, November 13, 2022, at St. Mary’s Hospital with family and friends at her side. She was born on February 11, 1954, to Thomas and Marjorie (Nourse) Joyce in Richland Center, Wisconsin. Sheila worked as a Resident Care Technician at Central Wisconsin Center for over 40 years. In her free time, Sheila cared for her Ward David and enjoyed gardening, working on crossword puzzles, watching Wisconsin sports, shopping, and random giving of plants. Sheila is survived by her siblings, Michael, Debra, Daniel, Nancy Pierce; 3 nieces, Sheila, Rebecca, Kayla Pierce; great-nephews, Caleb and Mavin and many other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, brothers Francis and Patrick, and brother-in-law Ken Pierce. A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, November 30, 2022, at Ryan Funeral Home, 2418 N. Sherman Ave., Madison. Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM until the time of service.

Sheila will be very missed. She kept us in line during the Christmas fleet run as the Scrooge. Great fond memories of her. So sorry for your loss.

Sweet little Sheila, know her if you see her. Often thought of her through the years. We grew up on Copelend Street just a few houses down the street from the Joyce family. Attended school with Sheila growing up. Always a joy! So sorry for your loss!
