Obituary
DEFOREST – Christopher James Jones, age 33, passed away on January 6, 2023. He was born on September 11, 1989 in Madison, Wisconsin to parents, Candice (Burns) Larrabee and Jeremiah Jones. He attended DeForest High School and went on to work in the hospitality industry. He was a hard worker; dedicated to his job at Bishops Bay Country Club for fourteen years.
Chris was a fan of the Packers and the Badgers. He enjoyed playing pool and cribbage, disc golfing, snowboarding, and attending concerts. Above all, he loved being with people and hanging out with his friends. Chris will be dearly missed by his family and many friends. He will be remembered as a social person who would lend a hand to help anybody, and would strive to make others laugh.
Chris is survived by his mother, Candice (Todd) Larrabee; father, Jeremiah Jones; sister, Alex Gebert; step-sister, Ashley (Rob) Stankey; grandparents, Kathy Leffingwell, John Burns (Pam Herbrand), Milward Jones, Guil Leffingwell, and Jim and Donna Larrabee; aunt, Cheryl Burns; special friend, Brittni Schehr; and other loving family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Mary Jones; uncle, Don Gardner; and close friend, Joe Kreklow
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are planned to be donated to a charity in memory of Chris.
