Our condolences to you during this time of sorrow. We will miss Lou. We enjoyed her company and especially her broccoli salad at Thanksgiving each year at Whitecap. She brought sunshine to the table along with her experiences and stories, her creative writing, knowledge of the theater/arts. We knew not to bother her during tennis. To Lou's family - This comes from Ironwood, MI. Back on May 5, 2005 the Ironwood Daily Globe published an article on the Opinion page by Lou Crosby. That article is in my notebook, ever since that day. Title was "A loving mother becomes a published writer". Quote is like this. "Mom, here is a belated Mother's Day gift for you -- publication of one of your writings -- "For Everything There is a Season." This whole idea was so touching. It was one to save and reflect on, even yet today. So this is a thank you to Lou. Not sure I ever told her. It says she was an editorial assistant in the Daily Globe Newsroom.
