Obituary
Mary T. Volkman loved life so much she did it for 97 years. She enjoyed her caring and loving family, lots of laughter, and a juicy peach. Always half of “Bob and Mary,” she was fortunate to have a loving husband and a wonderful marriage. They enjoyed life together, golfing and traveling all over the country. She raised three exceptional children and cared for her extended family; at reunions, everyone wanted to see her.
Mary was happy with her life and accomplishments. She enjoyed golfing and her friends at Black Hawk Country Club. She loved traveling with her daughter and watching her granddaughter grow up. She was generous and fun-loving, and wherever she went, she always made good friends.
She is preceded in death by her husband Bob and son Bill. She is survived by daughter Mary of Ranch Mirage, CA, son and daughter-in-law Bob and Liz; grand-daughter Meredith, and brother Ed. Thank you to Dr. John Ewalt and the caring people at Attic Angels, St. Mary’s Hospital and Agrace Hospice in Fitchburg.
No public services will be held for Mary.
She was the World’s Best Mom.
