Obituary
MADISON – Thomas V. Crary, age 74, passed away on Wednesday, June 14, 2023. Tom was born on July 12, 1948 in Madison, WI to Oliver “Bud” and Maxine Crary. He grew up in downtown Madison and graduated from Central High School in 1967. Tom married Janet Breen on November 3, 1984. He worked for Electric Motors Unlimited for close to 30 years. Tom enjoyed watching over his neighborhood, driveway chats with neighbors, and most of all enjoyed being a grandfather. Tom was also very proud of his children.
Tom is survived by his wife of 39 years, Janet; children, Matt (Casey) and Katie (Mike) Stiff; grandchildren, Will, Ethan, Kora Stiff and Easton Stiff; siblings, Jerry (Carol), Jean (Tim) Reithmeyer, Helen (Mike) Hartwig and Patricia “Trish” (Tod) Dean; mother-in-law, Loretta Breen; and best friends, John and Janice Fahey. He is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents and father-in-law, John Breen.
A Celebration of Tom's Life will be held from 1:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. on July 8, 2023, at Salem United Church of Christ, 502 Mark Drive, Verona, Wisconsin 53593.
