Obituary
Madison – Rhoda Mae Gust, age 80, passed away on September 2, 2023 at her residence. She was born on February 25, 1943 in Darlington, Wisconsin to parents Lloyd and Fern (Weinbrenner) Colden.
Rhoda married Roger Gust on September 19, 1964, at Willow Springs Church in Darlington, Wisconsin. She was the bookkeeper of their family business. She loved to go shopping, travel with her family, and play euchre with her grandkids. Her children and grandchildren were very important to her, and she was dedicated to attending all of their sporting events.
Rhoda is survived by her 2 sons, Curt Gust and Randy (Becky) Gust; 3 grandchildren, Jadyn, Asher, Aislyn; and her dog, Joy. She was preceded in death by her husband and her parents.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Salem United Church of Christ.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 14, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Salem United Church of Christ, 502 Mark Drive, Verona. A visitation will be held on Friday, October 13, 2023 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Ryan Funeral Home, 220 Enterprise Drive, Verona, and on Saturday at the church from 10:30 until the time of service. A private interment will be held at Verona Cemetery.
