Obituary
Irene A. Remsik (née Speranza) born June 30th, 1930, Madison, WI, passed on September 11th, 2023. Memorial services will be held at St. Stephen’s Lutheran Church: 5700 Pheasant Hill Road, Monona, WI on Thursday, September 28th, 2023 at 4pm. Prior to the service, there will be a visitation held from 2 to 4pm at St. Stephen’s. An interment service will follow on Monday, October 2nd, 2023 at Roselawn Memorial Park at 11am.
Irene is survived by her sisters, JoAnn Levenick, Marcia Olson, and Kay (Ron) Speranza,brothers, Thomas (Pat) Speranza and Robert Wacholz; sons, Michael, Jeffrey (Arlene), Richard, Robert (Jackie), Steven (Nao), and Anthony (Eden) Remsik, daughter, Theresa Remsik-Traczek; grandchildren Tanya (Bobby)) DiMatteo Fleener, Luke Larson, Adam (Katy), Joshua (Anjali), and Bex Traczek, Alexander and Clayton Remsik, Lauren (Richard) Orton, and Bronte, Trevor, and Maria Remsik; and great-grandchildren Edward and Charlotte Orton and Alyssia DiMatteo and Sabrina Fleener; and many cousins, nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband and father of her 9 loving children, John Remsik, significant other, Rich Lund, father, John Speranza, mother, Bertha Ahrens Speranza, brothers John and Phillip Speranza, and sons, Gordon and Thomas Remsik.
