It was such a privilege to know Bernie and to work with him during my time in Melfort. I remember so well his gentle spirit and his sense of humor. He was instrumental in fashioning a banjo and composing some hilarious lyrics to the tune of O Susanna, he's going to Alabama with a banjo on his knee, when we moved to Alabama years ago. The banjo still sits on our porch and it brings a smile to my face every time I see it as do the many memories I have of Bernie. It was certainly a privilege to work with Dr. Wiebe, so many years ago in hospice. His kindness to the patients and staff will always be remembered and appreciated. May God Bless his family as they grieve, and celebrate a life well lived. ( I. Klansek RN.)

we were soulmates from grades 1-10, which not everyone gets to experience. I was and remain grateful for that.
