We are sending our condolences and love to you Mary in the loss of your dear Mother. You and Loren have been there with her for this last journey in love and with gifts and food and time and humor. May that help bring you some peace. As I know from my own experience, your Mom will always be right there with you on your shoulder. Joan was a rare person. I don't know anyone else so generous and always concerned with the problems of others. Her parents must have been too. She often mentioned her mother -who was probably the same and passed on the frugality that life demanded in the old days. She was fiercely independent. A rare and wonderful person. Chuck Litweiler
