I first had the honor of meeting Ms. Vana Allen at my brother, Mike Crossey and Tricia's wedding. It was the coldest wedding day I had experienced, but Vana's warmth and hospitality made Tricia's day extra special. I was happy to read more about her life in this memorial. Vana (Lee) was a force of Nature. She was a cherished friend of mine via telephone (I in NYC, Lee In Madison) We had similar senses of humor and love of family. She has a special place in my heart!!
