Obituary
Madison – Delbert A. Imberg, age 89, passed away on Friday, November 10, 2023 at Stoughton Hospital. He was born on November 30, 1933, the son of Steven and Clara (Haas) Imberg. Delbert was raised in Plain, WI on the family farm and joined the United States Army where he served from 1957 until 1963. He worked at Oscar Mayer for 45 years until his retirement. Delbert was also an avid golfer and bowler.
Delbert is survived by his sons, Robert of Pardeeville, Ronald of Sun Prairie, and Randy of Monona; his daughter, Dyan of Verona; stepchildren, Bob, Ron, Doug, Jerry and Debbie; and other family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Kathleen; his second wife, Margaret; his parents, Steven and Clara; and his brothers, Alfred and Gerald.
A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00pm on Saturday, November 18th, 2023, at RYAN FUNERAL HOME, 2418 N Sherman Ave, Madison. A visitation will take place from 11:00am until the time of service. Military honors will follow the service at the Funeral Home. Burial will take place at Old St. Lukes Catholic Cemetery in Plain, WI.
