Obituary

Poynette- Alberto “Albert” Villafranco, age 60, passed away on Friday, December 1, 2023, at home after a long battle with ALS Disease. He was born on October 23, 1963, to Lucia Carriola- Gonzales in Texas.

Family and his grandchildren were the most important part of Albert’s life. He also enjoyed Hot Rods and riding mechanical bulls.

Albert is survived by his son, Alex (fiancé Tanya Wills) Villafranco; grandchildren, Trey, Nariah, Watermelon; mother, Lucia Carriola- Gonzalees; siblings, Gracie Castro, Josephine Richey, Alicia Villafranco, Arnold Villafranco, Nancy Villafranco “Salas”, Cindy Gonzales; other relatives and friends.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, December 7, 2023, at St. Olaf Catholic Church, 623 Jefferson Street, DeForest, WI. Visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. until the time of Mass. Interment will be held at St. Olaf Catholic Cemetery.

When I moved to poynette, Albert was so nice, he always waved, and he showed me his car, took me for a spin this summer in it, we both are car enthusiasts..Albert made liz and I very welcomed to the neighborhood..his friendly wave will certainly be missed.. our neighborhood lost a super nice man..R.I.P, DEAR ALBERT..
