Obituary

Windsor – Robert “Bob” D. Kleven, age 88, passed away after a brief illness on Sunday, December 3, 2023 at The Legacy of DeForest. He was born in Stoughton, WI, on December 7, 1934, the son of Louis and Dorothy (Olson) Kleven.

Bob is survived by his wife, Donna Kleven; his son, Kenneth (Bette) Kleven; Donna’s children, John (Jodie) Zaemisch, Cindy (Bob) Lex, and Carla Snyder; brother, Richard (Betty); sister, Delores; and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Dorothy; daughters, Debra and Brenda; Donna’s daughter, Cathy Kohn; granddaughter, Samantha; and brothers, Donald and Louis Jr.

A Funeral Service will be at 11:00am on Saturday, December 16, 2023, at RYAN FUNERAL HOME, 6924 Lake Rd, DeForest. A visitation will take place at the funeral home from 10:00am until the time of service. A luncheon will be held following the service. I went to grade school for few years with Bobby and his older brother Donny at Bass Lakee School before they moved to Cooksville. They were both behind me by a year and two at Stoughton HS. That extends back to over 80 years ago, and brings back fond memories.

I went to Cooksville school with Don, Bob, Delores and Dick along with their cousin Duane. Delores and I were in the same grade and have fond memories of each and everyone of the Klevens. Sending my sympanthies to all.
