Obituary
Patrick M. Huber, age 74, passed away on Monday January 8, 2024 at his home. He was born on May 2, 1949 in Chicago,IL to the late Charles and Christine (Rill) Huber. He is also preceded in death by his beloved wife, Bonnie (Pollock) Huber and brother Leonard “Butch” Huber.
Patrick attended Central High School in Madison. From there he joined the United States Army where he served in the Vietnam War. He was honorably discharged in 1971. Patrick was a jack of all trades when it came to work, but was specifically proud to have served his country and of being a baker for multiple bakeries, restaurants, and grocery stores in the area. He spent his later years caring for his dear wife during her health challenges.
After battling cancer for the past few years, he leaves behind his loving children: daughter, Tanaya Degenhardt; son, Troy (Jess Goakey) Huber; daughter, Terra Huber; and son, Tony (Kristen) Huber. He is further survived by his adored grandchildren, Clint, Kyla, Alana, Jeffrey, Morgan, and Brooklynn.
The family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to the dedicated staff at the Memorial Veterans Hospital of Madison and St Croix Hospice for their continued care of Patrick.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Friday, January 19, 2024 at RYAN FUNERAL HOME- NORTH EASTSIDE 2418 N Sherman Ave Madison WI 53074. A visitation will be held from 11:00 A.M. until time of service on Friday at the funeral home. Military honors will follow the service before burial at Roselawn Memorial Park.
