Obituary
Madison - Kevin Joseph Dunn was born in Rockville Centre, Long Island NY, and raised in West Hempstead by his parents John and Kathleen (Paciello) Dunn. Kevin was the middle child with his older brother John Dunn and younger brother Peter Dunn. He attended St. John’s Preparatory School in Brooklyn, NY, and was an altar boy from grammar school through high school. Kevin graduated from Villanova University in 1971 with a BS in Commerce and Finance and was a loyal fan of Wildcat basketball his whole life.
After graduating college, Kevin started working for Xerox where he went through the sales training program. Soon after, he moved into broadcasting and started working for Storer Broadcasting in New York City and Detroit as a sales executive. While at Storer Broadcasting he was promoted and moved to WSBK TV in Boston where he held various Management positions. After working years at WSBK TV, he was hired by Gannett Broadcasting WLVI TV in Boston where he served as the Director of Sales.
Kevin never felt better than when he was in the ocean and believed saltwater could cure all. This love started in his youth as a lifeguard at Jones Beach and passed down to his children who he taught to swim in Cape Cod. He viewed his time abroad as the best education he could receive and recounted the stories of his travels throughout his life. His favorite was his time on Ireland’s west coast which he frequented many times with his dearest friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents and older brother, John, and survived by his brother Peter, nieces and nephews, his loving wife Alexandra (Corcoran) Dunn, and their three children, Kaitlin Rose, Sean Patrick, and Alexis Olga Dunn.
