Obituary

Madison – Diane “Dee” Marie Wagner, age 63, passed peacefully on February 6, 2024 at Agrace Hospice after succumbing to a rare and aggressive brain disease. She was born on March 23, 1960, in Madison, Wisconsin to parents Lavern and Lois (Borchert) Wagner.

Known for her infectious laughter and witty sense of humor, Dee spread love and joy to everyone around her including her many nieces, nephews and beloved friends. She worked for the Department of Transportation for 38 years, retiring in June of 2015. She loved watching and feeding her hummingbirds and orioles in her front window. Dee enjoyed walking and biking with her partner, Tim, as well as weekly meat raffles.

Diane is survived by her partner of 40 plus years Tim Brockmann; siblings Vern “Butch” (Linda) Wagner, Deb (Lee) Sherven, Bev (John) Scheidegger; and countless nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister Sharon Storkson. Her family and friends will always remember the countless gatherings where Dee was the life the of the party and we know that she will continue to cut loose, Footloose!

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the CJD Foundation.

A memorial visitation will be held on Thursday, February 29, 2024, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Ryan Funeral Home, 220 Enterprise Drive, Verona and a celebration of life will directly follow at the 5th Quarter Bar & Grill, 161 Horizon Drive, Verona.

Diane is at peace now, no more pain. She's with her Dad,Mom, and Sharon. I grew up across the road from the Wagner Family.( our extended family) Diane's smile and laughter was very contagious. Fly high beautiful angel. Love you sister❣️
