Obituary
Sharon B. (Sparr) Johnston, age 80, passed away on Tuesday, March 26, 2024, at Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee, WI. She was born on January 8,1944, to Hayward and Leah (Roberts) Sparr in Champaign, Illinois. Sharon married Daniel “Dan” Johnston on June 13, 1964, in Farmer City, IL.
Sharon was always a happy and a good-hearted person who loved to have her family around. She enjoyed sewing, watching sports, especially the Packers and she also enjoyed watching figure skating. Sharon was an animal lover and enjoyed having dogs around the house as pets.
Sharon is survived by her grandchildren, Jennifer (Justin) Perttunen, Jaclyn VanDyk, Braden Reed; 6 great grandchildren; son-in-law, Brady Reed; grandson-in-law, Michael Blake and other nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
She is preceded in death by her husband; parents; and daughter, Christine Reed at the age of 53 years.
A Celebration of Sharon’s Life will be held at a later date.
