Obituary

Madison – Jeffrey “Jeff” Jon Flint, age 61, passed away on Tuesday, April 16, 2024. He was born on October 30, 1962, in Monroe, WI to parents Carol (Putnam) and Melvin (Dutch) Flint.

Jeff attended school in Cuba City and graduated from Cuba City High School in 1981. After High School he attended Southwest Tech, graduating in 1983 with a degree in Cosmetology. Jeff practiced in the field of Cosmetology for over 25 years. Making a career change in 2008, he trained to become a Sterile Processing Technician, being employed at UW Health and SSM Health respectively.

Happily married to Melissa (Moore) Flint for almost 30 years (December 3, 1994), beginning their lives together at Bethel Lutheran Church in Madison, WI. The family are current members at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, in Madison, WI.

Jeff is survived by his wife Melissa and daughter Lilianna; father Ken McWilliams; sister Lynette Sutter (Joel); sister-in-law Bev Flint (Alan); brothers Kendall McWilliams (Kristin) and Dennis McWilliams (Amanda); nieces and nephews Jared, Laura, Nikki, Jessi, Carlye, Brooke, Jacob, Kennedy, Jase; great niece and nephew Abby and Miles, and his beloved pups Apollo and Loki.

Jeff is preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Rick and Alan Flint.

A special thank you to Jeff’s family and friends for all their support during the time of his illness and after, that has lovingly been provided. Jeff's wife and daughter wish to thank Agrace Hospice Care, the ALS Association, UW Health ALS Clinical Team, and the UW Hospital D4/4 nurses, doctors, and entire staff for the compassionate care they provided to Jeff over the last nine weeks while battling ALS.

Please join us at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, April 26, 2024, for a Celebration of Jeff’s Life at 5th Quarter Bar & Grill (Sidelines Room), 161 Horizon Dr #110, Verona, WI. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorial donations be made to Jeff’s family.

I am going to miss you cuz. You weren't suppose to leave us. Remember all the fun we all had Grandma Putnam's place in Monticello. The Christmas get together & Grandma's brandy shushes, the learning to crochet w Grandma. I know you are at peace and with Rick, Al, mom Carol and grandma and grandpa Putnam.
