Obituary
Nancy Jo Moran (nee: Richter) passed away peacefully with her family by her side at the age of 85 on June 5, 2024. She was born December 31, 1938 in Weyauwega, WI to parents Leo and Ann Richter.
Nancy grew up in Weyauwega, graduating from high school in 1957. Her life then took her to Minnesota, Arizona and Tennessee, but her heart was always in Wisconsin. She has resided in the Madison area since 1974. She worked her entire career at American Family Insurance where she advanced to Senior Underwriter before retiring in 2000. After her retirement, Nancy moved to Parkside Village in DeForest with her dear sister, Mary Richter. In her spare time, Nancy enjoyed bowling, golfing, gardening, reading and participating in the dance group at Parkside Village. She loved nature and animals and throughout her life could be found walking trails and going to parks and zoos with her family.
Nancy is survived by her children; Jerry Moran and Jacki (Bill) Winkler; sister, Mary Richter; and brother, John Richter. She was preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Ruth Hanson.
