MADISON-Jo Helen Kirkwood, age 95, of Verona, Wisconsin, passed away on January 15, 2016, at Willow Pointe Memory Care, Verona, Wisconsin. Jo Helen was born on March 7, 1920, in Birmingham, Alabama, the daughter of Joe and Beulah (Simpson) Dunn. She was a loving daughter and wife and cherished her family. She is survived by her daughters Lynne (Richard) Schifreen of Madison, Wisconsin and Carol (Everett) Williams of Madison, Georgia and her son Joe (Julia) Kirkwood of Rangely, Colorado; granddaughters Andrea (Tony) Lyles of Columbus, Mississippi and Kate (Scott) Schifreen of Madison, Wisconsin, Katie Ann Williams and Michelle (James) Williams of Madison, Georgia, Nicole (Dirksen) Salimbene-Bauman of Takoma Park, Maryland and grandsons Justin (Tara) Williams and Daniel
(Kristy) Williams of Madison, Georgia; and four great-grandchildren. A grave-side burial will be held at the Forest Hill Cemetery in Birmingham, Alabama. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Kirkwood, her parents and her sister, Evelyn Witt.
