MADISON, WI / CAPE CORAL, FL – Billie Ann Egstad, age 90, passed away, peacefully, surrounded by her family, at home on Monday, June 10, 2024. Billie Ann was born on August 9, 1933 in Madison, NE to William and Pearl (Herden) Dittberner. She grew up and went to school in Sauk City, WI. She was married to Peter H. Virnig and they had five children. She later married Edward Egstad on December 26, 1970 and they moved to Cape Coral, FL. Billie Ann was a devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, and sister.
Billie Ann is survived by her children, Jeffrey Virnig, Thomas (Melodie) Virnig, Kenneth (June) Virnig, and Susan (Dennis) Brown; grandchildren, Gina, Jennifer, Kimberlee, Rochele, Sara, Jacob, Rachel, Dylan, Amber, Shelby, and Douglas; great grandchildren, Damietri, Lincoln, Sydney, Lennon, James, Kinley, Aleigha, Ashlynn, Aurora, and A.J.; and father of her children, Peter Virnig. She is further survived nieces, nephews, other family and friends. Billie Ann is preceded in death by her husband, Edward; son, Douglas Virnig; daughter-in-law, Kathi Virnig; son-in-law, Robert Brown; and siblings, Kerment (Elaine) Dittberner and Carrol Dittberner.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a relative's home on Saturday, August 3rd, 2024 from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. at 2831 Berkan St, Madison, WI 53711.

This woman is the sweetest and kindness woman that that entered in my childhood. My heart breaks for the whole family. I'm sorry I can't be there in person, I've broken my hip and getting rehabilitated. Memories can be taken away from you. Much love and God bless each of you..... Skeeter
