i work in urgent care at the university of wisconsin with bonnie.. we had a lot of busy intense nights.. we would be so busy sometimes that she’d send me next door to noodles & company to pick up food for everyone for lunch then we’d get right back to either saving patients or letting them just go with the lord.. lol just kidding.. rest well bonnie.. #richregisterednurseluxlife#🥰 Tiffany Chanel Gray

Bonnie was such a beautiful woman. Her caring nature, love of her family and friends, her willingness to help any soul who needed support are just a few of the many, many qualities we on Earth will miss. Rest in peace, Bonnie. Until we meet again..: ❤️

Bonnie was simply a magnificent human being, nurse and leader. I knew her not only as a friend but as a valued colleague who was the heart and soul, as well as leader of the staff of the emergency department at Methodist, then Meriter hospitals. As a clinical staff she was once named by her peers nationwide as the national nurse of the year. All of us who knew her thought she was an obvious choice. Her fellow nurses at Methodist, a great group of candidates in their own rights, wrote the nomination that got her elected. She later faced terrible challenges with calm grace, as usual.
