Obituary
MADISON – Marlene Inez Terhall, age 89, passed away on Wednesday, June 26, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. Marlene was born on April 26, 1935, in Sun Prairie, WI to Bertrum and Elizabeth (Ingram) Jungbluth. She grew up on the family farm. Marlene married Dean Terhall on July 23, 1955. She was a lifelong homemaker, but as her kids grew older, she also worked as a clerical worker and ended her career with the State of Wisconsin. She also fostered many children with her husband and family. Marlene enjoyed watching the nature in her backyard, including squirrels, various birds, and deer. She also liked tending to her flowers and yard. Dean and Marlene traveled extensively with friends and family.
Marlene is survived by her children, Cheryl Terhall (Don Rebholz), Todd Terhall, and Tina Graser; daughter-in-law, Shelby Terhall; foster son; Mike Dornuf; grandchildren, Danna, Heather, Bryant, Justin, Jason, K.J., Travis, and Talycia; many great grandchildren; and sister-in-law, Joann Terhall. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other family and friends. Marlene is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Dean; sons, Dean Jr. and Doug Terhall; and sisters, Elaine (Forrest) Slotten and Linda K. Jungbluth.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, July 9, 2024, from 4:00PM until 6:00PM at RYAN FUNERAL HOME, 2418 N. Sherman Ave, Madison.
