We knew Sooz and her husband Ken through our dear friends Amie and Dean Miller in New Orleans since 1975. Sooz and Ken would always come to visit and would always drive down! When I moved to Chicago they would also come and visit me and hear me play on many occasions . It was so wonderful keeping that connection and we are so very grateful for all our years knowing them both. Ken we send you our deepest condolences as you face a life without Sooz. Please know that we are thinking lots about you at this time. We send you all our love. Annie and Steve Cohen

Kathy and I extend our sincere sympathy to all of Susan's family. Childhood memories of Susan at family events will be fondly remembered. Unfortunately, we will be traveling on the day of her service but be assured that we will be there in spirit. Cousin John

I did not know Susan well, but I did know her from a mutual love of Gardening and Cooking in various organizations around town. She always had a smile on her face. My condolences to all her friends and Family. Pamilyn Hatfield

After my retirement from the Wisconsin Army National Guard, I began working for Wisconsin Emergency Management where I met Susan. We both had one thing in common, both played accordions. Ken too played and the friendship began. Always a happy smile on her face any time of the day Susan will truly be missed. Ken, we send our deepest sympathy. Bob and Ann Klinger

Our dear sister-in-law Sooz was a remarkable person. She was kind - kind to everyone. We will miss her quiet nature. She was friendly. She made friends everywhere. She made friends at the Bookstore in the Rink and at the Gracious Bakery here in New Orleans. She was an inspiration to us as a reader and a collector of books, and as a custodian of the planet. We will miss her "can do" attitude - Don't have a turkey roasting pan? Turn the stock pot lid upside down and use that. Need a dinner for a gazillion people? Ken and I can do that. We will miss Sooz and everything about her. Our condolences to Ken - you and Sooz had a special relationship. We are sending all our love today and always.
