Jean, Judy, Janet-- Your mom was the fun aunt every kid deserves! My favorite memories of her involve two specific events at Devils Lake in the 70's. I think the first was during campout for Grandpa Elmer's birthday (South Shore, 60th Bday???). One day a bunch of us were playing on a rubber raft near the South Shore. There was so much fun happening that your mom accidentally sat on Teri's head in the raft and "nearly" drown her. Teri can fill in the details, but there was a lot of giggling and teasing afterward! 🙂 The other event was a family campout at the North Shore for the 4th of July 1976 (bicentennial). We all went to Baraboo to watch fireworks, where your mom acted as "choirmaster" to coordinate us in a series of oohhs and ahhhhs for the fireworks. :)!!! I'll keep you all in my prayers for peace and comfort. Your mom was the best. Hugs, Cousin Lisa (Schmale) Grumann
