Bear Ehrler

Bear Lucian Ehrler was conceived with love in December of 2023 during the holiday season. His parents Seth and Elizabeth Ehrler liked to believe that Bear would be a “belated gift” to their family, and a “friend for life” to their eldest son Han.

Many gatherings and celebrations were held in anticipation for the arrival of baby Bear. Giving family and friends so much joy despite the challenges of the high risk pregnancy. He was loved and carried by his mother for 40 weeks and 3 days.

Bear was born with a natural labor and delivery at 9:46 p.m. on Wednesday September 25th, 2024. He arrived without a heart beat or breathe despite valiant efforts to resuscitate. Bear is survived by his parents Seth and Elizabeth Ehrler and his brother Han. The family has lost a son and gained an angel.

A memorial will be held at Ryan’s Funeral Home, 2418 N. Sherman Avenue, Madison on Friday October 4th, 2024. Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. with a service to follow at 2:00 p.m. This is a public event that all are welcome to attend.
