I didn't know Tasha well or for very long. We met a few times before the disease took over. It wasn't until after she became non-verbal that we "Connected." I remember the inexplicable, unspoken moment when our eyes locked. It felt like we truly saw each other's souls. It was the strangest, most powerful few seconds of my life. From that day forward, I was either thinking, asking, or talking about Tasha. I even talked to her in a dream the night before she passed. And now, Dear Tasha, until we see each other again, you will remain a part of me and I will keep my promise. Rest in Heaven. Sincerely, Kim Hudson
