Obituary
JoAnn Frederickson, age 82, passed away on Wednesday, October 30, 2024, at Milestone Senior Living. She was born on August 03, 1942, to Donald and Loretta (Fleming) in Madison, Wisconsin.
JoAnn grew up on a farm, she was a simple person who enjoyed being home but also looked forward to going on adventurous car rides and watching the grandkids whenever she could. Growing up on the farm, the family had horses and her love for them continued into adulthood. JoAnn raised birds, enjoyed gardening and had a yard that looked like a nature preserve where every animal was welcome to come and spend time.
JoAnn is survived by her children, Lee (Chris) Frederickson, Lori Denson; grandchildren, Erick, Jessica (Jeremy), Sam (Sammy), Audra (Xavier); siblings, Rose Ellen Geiger, Virginia Geiger, Paul (Tina) Geiger; great grandchildren, Harper, Daniel, Bentley and other family and friends.
She was proceeded in death by her parents; sister, Donna Tortorici; grandson, Daniel Stevens and son-in-law, Steve Denson.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date.

Lori and Jessica, I am so sorry to hear about your Mom/Grandma, I always enjoyed my visits with her throughout the years. She would bring Happy Meals for all my daycare kids when Jessica was at my house. Years and years ago when I worked at the Verona Truck Stop she would always come in for coffee, and she always brought laughter and fun times. I will forever miss her, and I wish I had went and visited her on my trips to Wisconsin. Love you both Carol Kraemer

I used to work with your mom at the Verona truck stop she was a manager at the time wonderful person great boss you have my sympathy
