Obituary

Nancy Molitor, our precious mother, went to be with her Lord and Savior on October 31, 2024. Nancy was born in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan to humble beginnings. Her mother immigrated from Finland as a teen and her father was a farmer and iron ore miner. Mom had six siblings. The day she graduated from high school she moved to Pennsylvania, where her older sister lived, for nursing school. It was during nursing school that she met Dad at a dance. They were paired up because Dad, too, was from Michigan. Mom and Dad married after Mom graduated and Dad completed his service in the army.

They settled in Wisconsin and had four children. Nancy is survived by two sisters Barbara Lucas and Linda (David) Repke. She is further survived by her five children: Renée Molitor, Jeanine (Bob) Dull, Connie (Michael) Moravec, Jeff (Krista) Molitor, and Patty Miley. Mom had eight grandchildren she adored: Jasmine (Joseph) Kirkpatrick, Sage (Ryan) Gaylord, Ian Moravec, Elissa Dull, Jed Molitor, Rienna Movavec, Ryan Dull, and Reid Molitor. Mom also had two sweet great granddaughters, Brielle and Rae Gaylord, and numerous other extended family members.

Mom loved people and definitely had the gift of encouragement. She faithfully wrote cards and prayed for everyone who was fortunate enough to know her. She pointed everyone she came in contact with to the loving feet of Jesus, and we as her children rise up and call her blessèd. Her godly legacy will far surpass her life here on earth and she will be dearly missed.

A celebration of Mom's life will be held at Gateway Community Church in Middleton Wisconsin. The service will be held Saturday, November 9th at 2:00 PM, with a visitation/receiving line starting at 1:00 PM. Refreshments will be served afterward. Mom's church family was so important to her. We request that in lieu of flowers and other gifts that you would contribute to Gateway Church's “Making Room” expansion project.

Fear not, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed. I am your God. I will strengthen you; I will help you; I will uphold you with my victorious right hand. Isaiah 41:10

I remember Nancy well. She was a super nice charge nurse. When I worked my nights that they use to make new employees do, she was super nice. I had morning sickness almost 24/7, she was very concerned. Nancy was a very caring person for staff and residents. My deepest condolences and prayers to her family. God Bless you all.

Your mom & grandma was a good friend. We worked nights together. She was such a good listener, had a great sense of humor & always cared about everyone. We got together a few times for lunch with other friends after she retired & it was so nice to see her. I'm very sorry for your loss.

Aunt Nancy & Uncle David led with kindness. They created a warm, loving and welcoming space every time we visited. They were curious of our lives and perspectives and willing to share their own. I haven't sat at their kitchen table in decades, but I can still feel that warmth. All my love to my cousins and their families during this time of remembrance.

Nancy was tip tops in my book. Kind and kinder in all of my interactions. And she taught that to all of her wonderful children. I send my prayers and best thoughts to her children, my cousins. I share your grief as I will also miss her. Leah Parks
