Glorianne Schroeckenthaler
May 18, 1940 - November 24, 2024
Obituary
Glorianne Jean (Schaff) Schroeckenthaler, age 84, went to be with our Father in Heaven, on Sunday, November 24, 2024. She brought much joy to her family and friends. Glorianne grew up in a family of nine children in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
After high school graduation, she married Warren Schroeckenthaler. They moved to Madison as a young couple and continued to raise their family of five children. Glorianne enjoyed walking, traveling, camping, swimming and getting together with others. She loved hosting parties with Warren and many others. Get togethers with the Schroeckenthaler family was another delightful thing that Glorianne and Warren did together. Most recently, she was able to gather with her siblings, Bonnie, Susie, Bob and Jerry. Long distance calls with her sister, June, always brightened her day.
Some might remember Glorianne as the Avon Lady or later in life she became known as the "Cookie Lady", baking many kinds of cookies and sharing them with her friends within the All-Saints Community. Remarkably, Glorianne was a Grandmother to twenty-four and Great Grandmother to fifty-seven, whom she loved dearly.
Glorianne is survived by her sons, Tom (Jill), Fred (Cathy), Tony (Denise), John (Tammy) and daughter, Linda.
Proceeded in death was her husband, Warren, her mother and father, Anthony and Marie Schaff. In addition, her sisters, Linda and Maureen and brother, Ron.
Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday, December 2, 2024, at
Saint Maria Goretti Church, 5513 Flad Avenue, Madison, Wisconsin. Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service at church. Entombment will be at Roselawn Memorial Park in Madison, Wisconsin.
The family would like to express our appreciation to the All Saints Staff and Community and Agrace Hospice for their care of our Mother, Glorianne.

Gloriane was a wonderful person, great neighbor, and great friend of my mom Hanna Bailey. I have fond memories of her warmth, compassion, and the activities I participated in as a child in the gathering place of her backyard. I am grateful to have such a great neighbor while growing up. Thanks, Geoffrey Bailey
