Anna O'Brien

I thoroughly enjoyed working with Anna during my time at Comfort Keepers. She quickly became one of my favorite clients, and it was a privilege to be there for her during a time in her life when she needed extra care and support. I always looked forward to helping Anna in any way I could and spending time with her. Anna spoke so lovingly about her family. It was impossible to miss how proud she was of her grandsons and how much they meant to her. She shared stories of growing up with her mother on Monroe Street, cherished memories of life with her beloved husband, Warren, and how deeply she missed him. She loved reminiscing about their years on the farm, the history of the surrounding farmland, and the life they built together. She also spoke fondly of her son, Tim, especially his days in the band, and with great affection about her daughter-in-law and grandsons. Through her stories, it was clear that family was at the heart of everything she did. When I left Comfort Keepers, I found myself thinking of Anna and the time we spent together more often than I expected. I still think of her and our conversations whenever I drive past her house. I'm grateful that I had the opportunity to get to know Anna, to hear her stories, and to be a small part of her life. It was truly an honor to care for her. I will always remember the love she shared with her family and the devotion she carried for Warren, the kind of love I hope to find for myself one day.
