Obituary
Joanne D. Ripp, age 95, passed away on December 23, 2024, at Reena Senior Living in Fort Atkinson. She was born on March 6, 1929, in St. Cloud, Minnesota to parents Louis and Alice (Iverson) Pedersen.
Joanne loved reading and caring for the books in the libraries where she resided throughout her life. She also enjoyed riding on the back of her son’s Harley. She stayed active by walking, sometimes walking several miles.
Joanne is survived by her son Bill (Lisa D’Amico); 2 grandchildren Joelene and Brandon; and her brother Hugh (Bonnie) Pedersen. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Harold; daughter Conni; son Mike; and her brother Robert.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Agrace Hospice and to the entire staff at Reena Senior Living for their care of Joanne.
A private burial will be held at Norway Grove Cemetery.

My condolences to Bill and Lisa. I am grateful I was able to be given the opportunity to meet and work for Joanne and become close to her! She honestly brought a smile to my days with her wittiness, honesty,drive to keep going and of course her voice will never be forgotten she cracked me up even on a bad day she still found something crazy to say that we would laugh about!! 🥰 thank you both for the conversation/reminiscing about and with Joanne! She is missed already!
