Obituary
DEFOREST – Mildred “Millie” Theis, age 87, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 1, 2016 at the Greenway Manor Nursing Home in Spring Green, WI. She was born June 13, 1928 to John and Regina Maly of Dane, WI. Mildred married Reynold Theis on June 12, 1947. They farmed in Marxville and DeForest for many years. Millie worked at Demco Library Supply in DeForest for 26 years. Millie enjoyed farming, dancing, playing cards, bingo, bicycling, walking, gardening and gambling. She enjoyed family, grandkids and great grandkids.
Millie is survived by her children, Georgia (Randy) Wendt, Gary Theis, Sandy Theis, Connie (Craig) Bailey and Tim (Tammy) Theis; five grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. Millie is preceded in death by her husband Reynold and son Jeffrey.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00AM on Friday, March 11, 2016 at ST. OLAF CATHOLIC CHURCH, 623 Jefferson Street, DeForest, with Father Vincent Brewer presiding. A visitation will be held from 9:00AM until time of Mass on Friday at the church.
