Obituary
DeForest – Thomas A. “Tom” Skaar, age 81, passed away on Thursday, February 27, 2025, at The Legacy of DeForest. He was born on January 14, 1944, the son of John and Esther (Vikum) Skaar.
Tom is survived by his son, Paul Skaar; his sister, Susie Fischer; his brother, Pete Skaar; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by both of his parents; his first wife, B’Ann (Moe) Skaar; 2nd wife, Kathy Mullikin; brothers, Joey Skaar, Jon Skaar and Jimmy Skaar; and his brother-in-law, Dick Fischer.
A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00pm on Saturday, March 8th, 2025, at Ridgeway Church, 3245 E Washington Ave, Madison, WI, with Pastor Brian Peterson presiding. Coffee and snacks will follow the service. Inurnment will take place at Highland Memory Gardens.
In lieu of Flowers, donations may be made in Tom’s memory to Ridgeway Church.

I was Tom's barber for many years. He was always kind and generous and could make me laugh with his sense of humor. I miss him.

I enjoyed waiting on Tom with his breakfast friends at Country Cafe. I loved his sense of humor , those hats he wore and and always wearing shorts. Sincere condolences to Tom's family, Ellen Davidson
