Carol Praedel

Middleton/Richland Center/Beaver Dam – Carol Ann Praedel, age 93, passed away on March 3, 2025, at her residence. She was born on August 25, 1931, in West Allis, Wisconsin to parents Arthur and Clara (Klavekoske) Fischer.

Carol was united in marriage on May 31, 1958, to Gerald L. Praedel. She was a lifelong member of Communications Workers of America as well as the Telephone Pioneers of America. She spent 30 years working for both AT&T and GT&E. Jerry and Carol enjoyed their Lake Mendota home for 45 years, and boating and sailing.

Carol will be missed by her son, David and many dear friends and beloved family members. She was preceded in death by her husband Gerald; parents; and her brother David.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Dane County Humane Society or to the Apostolate for Persons with Disabilities.
