He was preceded in death by his mother, Beverly and brother-in-law, Brad Walker.

A Celebration of Life honoring Mike will be held from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 29, 2025, at the Hilton Garden Inn – Prairie Room A, 1220 South Grand Avenue, Sun Prairie. A private family interment will be held at Cambria Cemetery, at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Agrace HospiceCare, Fitchburg.

The family would like to extend a very special thank you to Mike’s sister, Julie and niece, Brittany for the loving care they gave Mike over the last weeks.

Travis and Kayla, Mark and I are very sorry for your loss! Great Dads are special and the lessons we learn from them are so important. I lost mine last year and all the wonderful humor filled memories I have will always be there. Take heart that you will always have those memories and they can never fade away. He's in God's arms with no pain or sickness and that's what got me though and I pray that can help get you through as well. We love y'all. Mark and Chrissy Bursaw Jessica and Alena

I had the honor of working with Mike for several years. He taught me an awful lot of things I continue to use in my career every day. There are people in your life that you will always respect and remeber. Mike was that guy for me. Will never forget him. My condolences. RIP Mike. Pete Kaspar and family.
