Obituary
MADISON- William H. “Bill” West, age 95, passed away on March 31, 2016, at Kindred Hearts in Cottage Grove after a lengthy illness. He was born in Ohio on July 15, 1920, the son of Howard and Wynema (Meek) West. Bill married Arlene Emmerich on November 2, 1939. He was a member of St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church, Madison ELKS 410 and Knights of Columbus #4527.
He is survived by his children, William J. (Julia) West, Kathryn (August) Buenzli, Susan (Kirk) Dalton and Thomas (Pamela) West; 12 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Arlene, in 1998; and son, Carl “Bud” West, in 2013.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, April 6, 2016, at ST. MARIA GORETTI CATHOLIC CHURCH, 5313 Flad Ave., with Msgr. Michael Burke presiding. Burial will follow at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. until the time of Mass at the church on Wednesday.
