Mark Kelsey

WINDSOR – Mark E. Kelsey, age 51, died from complications of esophageal cancer on April 10, 2016. Mark was born to Ed and Leona (Frank) Kelsey of Poynette on November 30, 1964. Mark graduated from Poynette High School in 1983. He became a computer programmer as the field erupted, and enjoyed working in that field at many places in the Madison area. He was a dedicated fantasy gamer and talented artist. His patient nature helped him pass these interests onto his children as well as many others.

Mark was preceded in death by his parents and an infant brother, Lane. He will be deeply missed by his wife Ticia and their six children: Rebecca, Whitney Lockhart (Craig Mistlebauer), Nicholas (Erica), Takyra, Aaleigha and Nathan, and two granddaughters: Zuri and Ami. He was also survived by his best friend and brother: Eric (Renee) of Madison, two sisters: Deb (Don) Reinbold of Richfield and Betsy (Kevin) Ruhland of Madison, and a brother by another mother: Scott Kulas. Additionally, he will be remembered by his step-mother Bonnie and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. He will be further missed by his many friends.

A celebration of Mark’s life will be held on Saturday, April 16, 2016 from NOON until 3:00 PM at RYAN FUNERAL HOME, 6924 Lake Road, DeForest.
