Obituary

Anna M. O’Brien, age 87, passed away peacefully on December 11, 2024, at Agrace Hospice. She was born on September 26, 1937, in Madison, Wisconsin to parents Francis and Eva Marie (Kehl) Sullivan.

Anna married Warren J. O’Brien on February 17, 1962, in Madison, Wisconsin. She was a member of St. Andrew Catholic Church in Verona and was active in the Council of Catholic Women. Anna also enjoyed spending time at the Fitchburg Senior Center.

Anna is survived by her son Tim (Heidi) O’Brien; grandsons Trace and Sean; and her great grandson, Remington. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.

A special thank you to the staff and volunteers at Agrace Hospice, Comfort Keepers, Waunakee Valley Senior Living, and to the nurses and doctors at SSM Health Dean Medical Group.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, January 2, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Andrew Catholic Church, 301 N Main Street, Verona. A visitation will be held at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Mass. Burial will follow at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery.
