I was at the memorial service for Troy with a few others who worked with him at WPS decades ago. A time when Troy and Tanja were dating. We all knew she was the one for Troy. It was fun being part of the friend group for their courtship and wedding. Great being Troy’s friend at work. Great memories of our lives then. Troy was so impressive with his values and resulting goals and priorities. Family, helping others in his orbit and career (to ensure best for family). It was no surprise to me that he conquered the lifestyle changes required to ensure his good health. He was strong, motivated for those he loved and true to himself. That’s how I will always remember Troy. Condolences Lepien family and all friends.

I got to know Troy through an ongoing project this past year, and deeply appreciated his thoughtfulness, consideration for others and calm presence. I will never forget when he stepped out of a virtual meeting and came back beaming with pride over his daughter's recent/education professional accomplishments. His love for his family was evident.

From all of us at Gymfinity, our hearts go out to Tonja, Sophie, and Aiden. We are so sorry for your loss.

My condolences to Tonja and Troy’s kids and family. I first met Troy as far back as kindergarten. We played soccer together in high school and were roommates in college. Such a great guy. Aloha ‘oe, Troy.

I don’t know Mr. Gene Lepien personally. I do know his wife Tonja. She worked at the Verona Public Library when I use to go there a lot. I just want to say. I am so sorry Tonja for your loss. Derek

Together with Troy Ninedorf and Theresa, they created a Muay Thai gym where I truly feel like it's my second home. He was one of the best teachers I've ever had. Very knowledgeable, kind, supportive and patient. Always willing to answer my questions or comments. His attitude towards his students helped me to become better teacher myself. He always kept an eye on my progress and gave me a great advice or just a pat on the back after a training. I will never forget on our sparring sessions and our work together, both in Kali and Muay Thai. He was a huge inspiration for me. Not only in martial arts, but also in life. He truly presented the ideal of what a man should strife to become. I will do my best to honor his memory. My deepest condolences to the family. Troy, you will be missed.
