I was crushed hearing about Matt. He was probably the closest cousin in age to me. My mom and Aunt Theresa were pregnant at the same time. They always told me that if one of them had a girl, her name would be Theresa and if they had a boy he would be named Matt. I would think of that almost every time I thought about Matt. The last time I saw him was a sad day for both of us. And yet, I am so grateful that I got to visit with him that day. I canāt make it tomorrow. Sending all my love to the rest of the Rohertys. RIP Matt.

I have fond memories of golfing with Matt and his golf partner Rich Hanko every year at the annual devils head outing. Matt was always a great guy to have conversation with and he will be missed. May God's peace be with his family in this difficult time. He is with Kay again

I hadn't seen Matt in probably six years or more until I saw him at Jim's funeral. He was the same guy - a big smile when he saw you, which is how I will always remember him. One of my best memories is spending time at the farmhouse he shared with Mike and Tony, where we got together on weekends to shoot clay birds and play poker. Some of the best games were when Uncles Bill and Tom and the "old man" showed up. A lot of BS and laughs around the table - especially when one of the uncles beat their nephews, or even better, when they beat the "old man". They would just howl. Sorry we won't be able to attend the Irish Wake. Our deepest sympathies go out to the entire Roherty family.
