I only met my Uncle Dave 2 or 3 times. I mostly know him through my Dad, his younger Brother Art Lund. They were in close communication and I enjoyed the many stories of life growing up in rural (Greendale) Wisconsin. The shenanigans and boyhood adventures. I shared their love of cars and motorcycles. Uncle Dave always mentioned his rides when we talked on the phone. I’m proud to be his nephew. He was very accomplished, put himself through college and post graduate education. An admirable law career. He was a devoted father and dedicated husband. He never failed to mention his love and respect for his wife, my dear Aunt Betty. I miss my Uncle Dave already. He had a great sense of humor and was always gracious and open to talk to me. Truly a great man. A fine role model. He will live in my thoughts and heart as I strive to be uphold his legacy of hard work, devotion to family and finding the humor in life. Rest in Peace dear Uncle Dave ❤️

I had David as a Sunday School teacher in the 70's. David would later teach me again as I started my real estate career. David was the shoulder I leaned on with every real estate deal for the first two years of my career. He was just what the doctor ordered and I had many a time to tell him what a god send he was for me. His son Jon was a classmate of mine who also happened to share the same birthday day and year. We were good friends and he was a good guy. I knew Karen as a friend more through church and Betty as a friend and teacher. My thoughts are with them as they deal with the loss of a husband and father, my thoughts and prayers are with all of you... Randy Alsmo

David and Betty were very special people and were so influential during my high school and college years. Thank you for being such a wonderful person! Even though the years have past they are in my thoughts.
