JANESVILLE/SAUK CITY – William Edward Torrisi, age 65, passed away in his sleep, peacefully at his home on Friday, March 18, 2022. Bill was born on December 22, 1956 in Beloit, WI to William and Joanne (Pantel) Torrisi. He grew up in Afton, WI and attended Parker High School in Janesville, graduating in 1975. Bill married the love of his life, Becky Densch, on October 1, 1983 in Janesville. Growing up on a farm, Bill was a natural mechanic, able to work as a small engine mechanic, small implement mechanic, automotive and diesel mechanic, and a truck accessories installation technician. Bill had a love of old Oliver tractors and classic cars. He was a dedicated family man who loved reading to his granddaughter.

Bill is survived by his wife of 38 years, Becky; children, Michael (Haley) and Danielle; grandchildren, Gonzalo Carillo and Rian Thomas; and siblings, Joe (Lisa), Jack (Linda), and Denise (Peter) Jensen. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at NOON on Saturday, March 26, 2022 at RYAN FUNERAL HOME, 5701 Odana Road, Madison, with his brother, Jack Torrisi presiding. A visitation will be held from 11:00AM until service on Saturday at the funeral home.

Bill was the best neighbor one could ask for. He always had a smile on his face and a friendly hello. He was always planting new trees and helping keep our neighborhood beautiful!!! He helped us fix our lawn mower several times and he was so kind!!! We loved seeing him and Becky go out on a sunny day in their convertible:). I will always have nothing but fond memories of Bill and his brother Joe. Bill and I actually shared our first "Bachelor pad" together in Janesville. We recently reconnected on Facebook. So sad to hear of his passing.
