Obituary

Madison – Joseph G. Lumina, age 64, of Madison, WI, passed away on Friday, February 17, 2023. He was born on August 9, 1958, in Madison, the son of James and Virginia (Beale) Lumina. Joe had challenges throughout his life but never complained. He brought a smile to the faces of those he knew.

He was preceded in death by his father, James; stepfather, Joe Meitner; sisters, Rosemary, Carrie and Nancy.

Joe is survived by his mother, Virginia; brothers, John (Barb) and James; 2 nieces; 3 nephews; brother-in-law, Dave Dyer; friend, Randy Schott; and many special people in his life including Moses and staff at Journey Gateway CSP especially now deceased Mike Tarp.

I am so sorry to hear of Joe's passing. I knew Joe for years while working at Goodwill where I was their community health nurse. He was always a delight to see, such a good sense of humor. My sincere condolences to his family. RIP Joe.
