Joni was my partner in crime when we worked together at the White Horse Inn and Essen Haus! Drank plenty of margaritas at Pedro's. Those were the Days! Though we drifted apart there will be fond memories. So sorry Jon and Family. She lived a live well lived! God bless! Renee Schrynemakers

My condolences to you, Jon, and family. I worked with Joni at Coca-Cola, my first real job, and she was an important part of my life there. A true friend. We lost touch after that, but I never forgot her, her smile, and what a wonderful person she was. She was truly a blessing.

Jon, I'm so sorry to hear about the passing of Joni. I will never forget her beautiful smile, dancing eyes, great laugh, and long pretty hair. Joni was one of the original "DL Girls". She fit right in with her gifts of loving to have fun, sing, dance, nature, camp fires, and laughing . . . and boy did we laugh. My heart and prayers are with you and your family. - Marj Wall

I grew up around the corner from Joni. This is what she wrote in her 9th grade yearbook at Van Hise which I suspect is very reflective on how she lived her life. "Grandma Mitchell plans to go to college and major in Dramatics and have an apartment with a lot of kids. She loves riding in cars with "great guys and good friends" and going to the skating rink. Her favorite class is English and she was the "active" president of the Pep club. She participated in "To Kill a Mockingbird" and helped with the dances. Her pet peeves are Mike Stats in a bad mood, the regulation of boy-girl relationships in the hall and the IMC." My condolences to family and friends.

Though we never got to meet. I send my sincerest condolences to you my dear sister in law. May your journey too heaven be a joyful one. May you rest in peace now, and no longer suffer. Love and mercy to my brother John, and remaining family members. Love you Therese

what our families say

Tiffany Foster went out of her way to fulfill all my requests, talked me through problems I was facing, and tried to make me feel as comfortable as possible when I was a wreck, totally crushed, and I thank her with all of my heart for that.

James S. | July 2020

The professional manner of the staff made a difficult time a little easier.

Lynda R. | July 2020

Services provided for both parents were perfect, on time, and no issues. Brenda is awesome and strong!

Michael M. | July 2020

Skyler was absolutely amazing. She was so caring and helpful through this whole process. She even went above and beyond to meet with us in DeForest and even to make a stop at our home to drop off or pick up anything needed. While it was a small gesture, it was so helpful and greatly appreciated.
