He also enjoyed reading, spending time with family, watching UW Wisconsin sports (especially men’s basketball), watching the Green Bay Packers, and listening to the Milwaukee Brewer games on the radio.

Bill had a legacy of helping others, strong devotion to his family, and had a great passion for anything he took on.

My husband Glenn and I are so very sorry to hear of Bill's passing away. Bill was one of the nicest people I have ever met. I always had fun running into him in the neighborhood...I think I could of chatted with him for hours. I so appreciated his political insights...God Bless you Bill and Jean and family too....Bill will definitely be missed.

Sending deepest sympathy to Jean & family. It was my pleasure to know Bill as a Marshfield friend for years, though more closely these recent years of retirement thru golf, fishing / kayaking - and great conversations about the Badgers, birds and clean water. Loyal, kind, generous, active... a wonderful friend we were blessed to share.

Bill was such a great guy, and our hearts go out to Jean, Nick and Justin. He was a wonderful part of my (Eric) growing up on Forest Park Drive. No matter what was going on, Bill always had time to share a laugh, talk Packers or give some great advice. He would always ask "So when are we getting the boat out to go fishing?" when I would come over, and I would always appreciate his invites to stay for dinner. You are dearly missed by all, and we hope you rest in Peace.

Bill..your political wit and insight was without a match. Our fly-fishing trips, while years in the past, were a hoot! I won't forget the Root river "No trespass" photo concern warranted "laughter and an extra brew". RIP in God's golden nature haven, and re-unite with "all who are great." You are one of the good guys!..Sarge

Bill left a lasting impression upon everyone he met. I would send new Account Managers to spend time with Bill so they could see what good looked like. He sent me a hilarious voicemail once playing his mandolin and singing while his dog howled in the background. Bill was a genuinely good person. I am blessed for having known him.

what our families say

Tiffany Foster went out of her way to fulfill all my requests, talked me through problems I was facing, and tried to make me feel as comfortable as possible when I was a wreck, totally crushed, and I thank her with all of my heart for that.

The professional manner of the staff made a difficult time a little easier.

Lynda R. | July 2020

Services provided for both parents were perfect, on time, and no issues. Brenda is awesome and strong!

Michael M. | July 2020

Skyler was absolutely amazing. She was so caring and helpful through this whole process. She even went above and beyond to meet with us in DeForest and even to make a stop at our home to drop off or pick up anything needed. While it was a small gesture, it was so helpful and greatly appreciated.
