Lodi - In the early morning of August 31st, 2020, Gregory John Gottschalk, age 54, died in his home. Greg left behind many friends and family. He is survived by his two children, Jordan and Rachel Gottschalk; his partner and mother of his children, Sarah Gottschalk; his favorite dog, Rocky; parents John and Marilyn Gottschalk; siblings, AnnaMaria Casper and family (Benjamin and Nathaniel), Rosalyn (Gary) Molz, Keith (Candice) Gottschalk and family (Heather, Nicole, Grayson and Gina), James Gottschalk and family (Jadrianna and Abigail) along with great-nieces and nephews. He also left behind more friends than he could count. Greg is preceded in death by his nephew, Alexander McLellan in 2003.
As the general manager of the family company EZ Office Products, he was an outgoing and kind man full of ideas on how to go above and beyond for his business and customers.
Greg was an adventurous planner of family camping, skydiving, hunting and fishing trips. In his free time he enjoyed riding motorcycles, watching Packers football, building camp fires high enough to reach the sky, blaring his favorite music for all the neighbors to hear, staying in his tree stand for hours waiting for the “big bucks" and most of all spending quality time with his family.
In his happiest times, Greg was the first to help anyone and was the most supportive son, brother, husband, father and colleague. He brought joy to everyone’s lives he touched and wanted nothing more than for his friends and family to follow their dreams and live full, happy and healthy lives.
He will be greatly missed by all, may his soul rest peacefully in heaven.
