Ronald Joseph Bittner, Jr. - Ronnie or Lil Ron as he was known at home was taken to heaven on April 24, 2022, at the age of 58. He was born May 2, 1963, in Belleville, Illinois. He was the first born of Ronald Bittner and Anita (Croker) Lansing’s four sons.
Lil Ron was a happy child. He was 4 ½ years old when he was admitted to Central Wisconsin Center. Lil Ron loved all his caregivers, doctors, nurses and all the staff of all the specialized departments. They all loved Ronnie too and he got a lot of attention. Whenever his brothers came home, they always made a point to greet him. Lil Ron would have gotten excellent care at home, but he would not have gotten the activities that the center could do. He loved all the activities, including boat riding, swimming, special meals at restaurants, listening to music and many more things. Ronnie cannot express enough thanks for his immeasurable wonderful life. A special thanks to U.W. Hospital and Agrace Hospice for their excellent care.
Ron is survived by his mother, Anita Lansing; Father, Ronald Bittner Sr.; three brothers, Jeffery (April), Randy, Nathan; two nieces, Elise (Nathan) Bittner, Angelita (Adam) Rodriguez and many cousins. Also, stepbrother, Brad (Shelby), their children, Ben, Liz and stepsister, Brenda Alexander and her children Tyler, Austin, and Lauren.
He is preceded in death by Aunt Candis (Croker) McGinn and Aunt Connie (Croker) Spafford. Both sets of grandparents Robert and Caroline (Mattek) Croker and Ben and Agnes (Siepel) Bittner.
